I see that you offer a bunch of different Hebrew courses. How do I know which one I want?

Here are some questions you can ask yourself to help you decide which course is right for you:

• Do I know the Hebrew alphabet? Can I read Hebrew at all, even without understanding it?
  If the answer to either of those questions is “No,” we suggest that you start with Instant Hebrew. Instant Hebrew is an extremely effective two-hour course which teaches how to read the Hebrew alphabet (vowels and consonants) as well as simple Hebrew words.

• Do I want to study Biblical Hebrew only?
  Our Read the Hebrew Bible course teaches Biblical Hebrew using something similar to the immersion method: We teach Hebrew by learning the p'sukim (Biblical verses) in Hebrew instead of the other way around. There are some innovative techniques that we use to teach this way which you are not likely to see elsewhere.

• Do I want to focus on Hebrew grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension?
  Our Dream Team Hebrew Classes focus on teaching Hebrew grammar, reading comprehension, and vocabulary, both for Biblical and Modern Hebrew. Again, we have some techniques which make our teaching unique, but the main advantage is that we focus on the most important things first and on finding tricks that will help our students learn Hebrew faster. You are probably not going to see this approach elsewhere.

• Do I want to focus on conversational Hebrew only?

• What if I am not ready to commit to a course, but I want an easy, fun, and inexpensive way to learn some Hebrew?

  Crazy Herb is actually a real person. He comes up with "crazy" (but astoundingly effective) mnemonic devices which make it fun and easy to learn Hebrew. Not only will his tricks help you to remember Hebrew words, you probably won't be able to forget them! Highly recommended, and a lot of fun. :)
